This mountain home sits on 35 acres of land overlooking the Fraser valley and the town of Granby. It is located in a small gated community about 4 miles south of Granby. There are 17 lots/homes in the subdivision and all have 35-45 acres of land. The home was designed by James K. Pool Architects and built by Zastrow Builders. The Zastrow family has been building homes in the valley for 50+ years and built only one or two homes a year. The home was started in October of 2000 and finished in November of 2001. The lot has many aspen trees so the removal of all the lodgepole pines that were destroyed by pine beetle has not had an impact on the property, like it has on many homes.
