Winter Park Real Estate Shows Weak Results through 2nd Quarter 2015

Winter Park Real Estate continued to perform poorly in the second quarter of 2015. The Number of Sold Listings was down 9% for the quarter (-12% for the first half of the year) and the Dollar Volume of Sold Listings was down 14% for the quarter (-17% for the first half of the year). Particularly weak was the Residential Sector (Single Family Homes, Duplexes & Townhomes) where the Number of Sold Listings was down 25% from the first half of last year and the Dollar Volume of Sold Listings was down 21%. Winter Park Real Estate 2014 Sales Increase was Strongest Ever

The increase in Sales in Winter Park over the previous year was the strongest since 1997. It even beat the record years of 2003 to 2008. The Number of Sales was up 31% and the Dollar Volume of Sold Listings rose an incredible 43%. With $151 million in sales, this year was the best year for sales since 2008. The 2014 2nd quarter saw a significant increase in sales compared to the same period last year. The Number of Sales is up 36% and the Dollar Volume of Sold Listings is up a significant 49%. The 2014 1st quarter saw a significant increase compared to the same period last year. The Number of Sales is up 24% and the Dollar Volume of Sold Listings is up a significant 36%. With $33.5 million in sales, this is the best start in a number of years.the Average Sale Price was also up 10%, largely due to a substantial increase in the volume of residential sales. Winter Park Real Estate Sales Ends 2013 Even with 2012

The 2013 year ended with The Number of Sales up 2 1/2% compared to the year before and The Dollar Volume of Sold Listings down by the same percentage. Total sales were $106 million and the total number of properties sold was 359. This means that the Average Sale Price dropped 5%, however, this was largely due to more condominium & less residential sales, not a price drop for individual types of properties. Of particular note, the volume of the Residential sector (Single Family Homes & Townhomes) increased dramatically in the Dollar Volume of Sales.
